I did like this book. It was a fun read, and the character's were three-dimensional. I've enjoyed other books by Denise Agnew more. The premise of the book is that Courtney wins a trip to a favored honeymoon getaway, but to go on the trip, she has to be married. She asks her friend Morgan to go with her as her 'husband'. After they arrive, the pitfalls of this situation arrive almost immediately. I can't really tell you what I didn't like about the storyline, but I guess I just didn't find the whole thing believable enough for great fiction. So it was more 'Ehh' than anything else. Therefore I wouldn't buy this book new; it's not worth $10.99 + tax. But I would suggest buying it used (as I did) or getting it on paperbackswap. It's just not a keeper.
An Okay read...Not the best friends-to-lovers story out there, but definitely a light, cute read. I finished it in 3 hours or so.
It was also my first by Denise A Agnew, and while it doesn't make me want to go out and buy all her titles, it does move all her titles that I already own, up higher on my mountain of a TBR pile :)
Oh and a small side note, if you're looking for.... heat...There's not too much in this one...It's not closed door, but it's not chock full of love scenes either.
Also, only one minor complaint..the end is a little abrupt, so if you don't mind that, than, like I said, it's a light read ...Or better yet, a good in between read.
