Beautifully illustrated children's book that makes a perfect bedtime story. The tale is about a fisherman who inadvertently captures a baby mermaid. Instead of using her to gain for himself the riches he and his brother so desire, he takes her back to her family. The way back to her family is fraught with danger, but he does it anyway and is handsomely rewarded by the grateful mermaids/men. His selfless act gains him the riches he and his brother sought despite the fact that he did not ask to be rewarded.
