Classic Fantasy, February 1, 2006
Reviewer: Lylmik (St. Petersburg, FL)

I read this book years ago, and it helped shape my expectations for what I expect from a good fantasy novel: a majestic scope and a new twist on legends. The hero's visit to Faerie has particularly remained with me after all these years. I am happy to see the novel back in print!

Outstanding Fantasy Story, January 24, 2006
Reviewer: Kermit S. Mullins "Ozark Trail Outrider" (Tulsa, OK)

This book takes up the tale where Merlin's Godson leaves off and Munn weaves an extraordinary story that moves from the Fall of Atlantis to the emergence of the Renaissance. Like Merlin's Godson it is full of unique visions and ideas that really captured my imagination.

And in my mind that is what a great fantasy novel does, it opens your mind to something completely new and undreamt.
