This was ok. Another that kinda dragged out even though you pretty much already knew what was going to happen, for the most part. But I do like her and her books, so yes I would more than likely recommend this to someone.

Konstanze is forced to marry a man forty five years her senior. Her husband turns abusive and Konstanze flees using her wit and an inheritance from a maternal great uncle in Cornwall. She is called upon to use her great singing talent to insure the safety of a community as well as herself. She struggles to keep her honor, but is in peril of losing her heart to the handsome smuggler who hired her to fool the agent of the crown while pretending to be a singing mermaid. (A romping good historical romance read)
