This author writes in a gritty manner with all the detail of drinking and deal making that seems to happen in the tabloid press but the plot details have a charm of location and quiriness. Set in TN with a mystery involving Elvis and the tabloid journalist Sandy whose life is on a down hill trend. A roller coaster of a read.
