Anyone else getting messages feom 'the PBS Librarian' as a banner across top of PBS pages saying my IoS 16 is out of date and vulnerable to viruses? It says I need to download one of 4 servers to assure safety, but I have 2 of them and I use them all the time for accessing PBS. So I did  nothing about it.

No banners or messages on my end either but my operating system is current. I did get messages like that before when I kept Windows 7 longer than I should have and the security updates stopped. Chrome and Firefox stopped making current browers for the old operating system so websites no longer worked correctly. I still kept it till it died though.

Maybe you can update your operating system and browers you use.

nothing like that for me on PBS or otherwise~ I'm still windows 10 on my laptop.

iOS is the Apple operating system for iPhones. iPadOS is for iPads.

Weird .........all devices ( phone, ipad, laptop) are updated regularly. Have a virus detector too. Hubby is an IT program manager in cybersecurity for military special ops so we have all the belks and whistles.
