This is my second time reading the Chronicles of Brothers Series. The imagery is some of the best I've ever read as she paralells what was going on in Heaven with earth from Genesis to present day. It offers a much bigger picture and keeps you turning pages all the way through! I haven't read the fourth book yet that is on the end times.

This book picked up where the first in the series left off. Quite honestly, I think I enjoyed the first one just a touch more, but the storyline in this one was just a compelling. My major complaint w/this book is also the same as the first. The descriptions of the first and second heavens can be a bit to much for me. I appreciate the author is trying to describe heaven,...but it just seems overdone for my tastes. I thought the introduction of the Van deVere family was also a bit clunky at times. I really had to concentrate to follow storylines revolving around them. That being said,...the action picked up about 1/3 of the way through and the story drove me to finish the book. If you enjoyed the first book in the series,...you'll probably enjoy this one.
