In the beginning, Jane feels like she is just plain old Jane and there is nothing unique about her. But when she moves to the town of Cranbury things start to change. Then, gradually, she becomes more than just Jane. This book is great for someone that enjoyed books by Roald Dahl and Edward Eager. This book was written wonderfully. It shows Jane as she builds herself esteem and how she was really much more than she thought she was from the very beginning.

Part of a set of four books about the Moffat family. Eleanor Estes, great story teller, my four kids loved all her books.
