A new twist to getting compromised for the sake of the family. Roxy is a determined young lady that must do something to help her family out of the poverty caused by her father. The way she sets about doing it is hilarious at times but she is dauntless in her determination to have her own business to the cost of all else. You have to really admire her. I would readily recommend this book.

Worth reading but not a keeper for me.

Surprisingly touching and intense book that brings up a lot of glossed over issues in romances. Roxana comes from a desperately poor family with a frequently absent, violently abusive father. The hero shows a surprising amount of compassion and understanding (no silly judging of women who marry for money out of necessity here.) There was a lot of depth to this story.
