I have seen the movie which is just awesome.Has anyone read the book and If so is it any good?

I read the book years ago and it is fantastic. The movie follows the book surprisingly well. I usually prefer the book over the movie, but I felt that the movie was quite good.

Read the book and saw the movie. Both were excellent. Just watched the movie again last week on one of the cable channels. It definitely is a book worth reading.
