This book was okay. Set in 1741 in Virginia. It does go to England for the 2nd part. My first read from this author. Not a typical Avon romance but I'd figure I'd give it a try. Not my favorite, but quick and of course - Happily Ever After...

Am injured stranger ends up on the stairs of Megan Drake's frontier cottage. she takes him in and nurses him back to help. He is hunted by a man who thinks he is a murderer, but in reality he is trying to get back to England and his family. He is the Eatl of Arlington. He and Megan fall in love and she loves him, but never sure she believes his story.
