Very suspenseful. Shattered all expectations -- well, except boy does meet girl. But, other than that, I do mean *all* expectations. Holly Lisle also keeps up a lively website with lots of info for aspiring writers.
Do not read this one at home alone at night!

Ooooooohhhhh...creepy! But riveting. Very "human" characters and a little supernatural stuff.
I really enjoyed this book with the supernatural element it made it fun and you really didn't know what was going to happen.
Despite the far-fetched plot line, this was a "can't put it down" read. I actually got a little breathless during some of the more heart-stopping moments. As usual, Miss Lisle provides a winner.

Holly Lisle spins a great tale of suspense. I found it very hard to put this book down. Definately something for everyone. It will keep you guessing til the last possible minute.

This was my first Holly Lisle book. It probably wont be my last. It was creepy, suspenseful, and inspirational all at the same time. Interesting characters, and a sexy romance.
I read this one in one sitting .... just too good to put down for one minute. Keeps your heart beating a mile a minute until the last page. Terrific read!

I liked this book - it was a fairly fast read. It had tension, psychological thriller, romance. If anything, I think the ending could have been wrapped up a little better, but all in all it resolved everything we needed to know.
