Marjorie McClellan is a young, feisty and attractive mystery writer living in a quiet town in Connecticut. Creighton Ashcroft, a young wealthy British heir purchases a mansion in the town. While touring his property together, they discover a body that had been buried in a shallow grave five years ago . It seems that the previous owner of Kensington House had committed suicide five years ago as well. It turns out that the man in the grave was the gardener of the prior owner. The couple believe that there must be some connection. They discuss their suspicions with hunky Detective Jameson and convince him to allow them to "assist" in the investigation of dead man they had discovered. There are some really LOL situations in this, the first of the "Marjorie McClellan" mystery series. I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to reading the next one to see how both the young men continue in their pursuit of Marjorie.
