When I first started this book, I thought, "Hooray! A ménage novel with an actual STORY!" The book drew me in right away. There are scenes of MF, MFM, and MM.
Unfortunately, the "story" started to get lost about halfway through the book in favor of one forced sex scene after another. I know the majority of the reviews are 5 stars, but for me, the book became tedious about 2/3 of the way through. The story line that had initially intrigued me became campy and strained.
Oddly, the only part of the ménage that actually worked for me were the moments between the two men. They had known each other for most of their lives, and had a much richer back story and deeper affection for each other. The clumsiness of trying to add Mia onto the pile of bodies in the bed just didn't ring true for me. The insta-love that both men had for Mia just irritated me.
This one started with a bang and ended in a rather mediocre way.
