There are so many books out on mindfulness & I thought Dr Siegel's was rather vague in how this transformation can take place.

I've enjoyed reading Dr. Peter Levine's books, as well as those of Dr Bessel van der Kolk, Dr Robert Scaer, Dr. Joe Dispenza, Dr. Candace Pert, and Dr Caroline Leaf among others.

Dr Siegel's book is dry & lifeless, IMHO. The other books offer deeper physiological meat and understanding into how our mind processes our emotions through our limbic system, etc.

I was disappointed.
