Discovered this book at Goodwill and almost didn't buy it. Glad I did. The book's plot is original and immediately engaging. The setting in north Georgia is spot-on. The characters, even some of the 'bad guys', are eminently likeable. Phillip DePoy keeps you guessing until the very end who the bad guys really are. Or are there any? And is there a ghost?
I enjoyed this book. It had a slow start, but in the second half of the book the pace and the nature of the plot changes. Good if you don't have to have all the ends tied up.
