Even though I'm an adult, I enjoyed this book so much. It is the cutest story about a ceramic rabbit doll and his many adventures. I made my mom read it and she absolutely loved it. She can't stop talking about Edward!

A well-written and beautifully illustrated book, this story will take you places you have never been through the eyes of a china rabbit. Be cautious when reading the last chapter, however. It will be quite a present from the author when you realize the carefully crafted ending she has in store for you! I was mesmerized.

Enchanting and transforming! I read this with my daughter, and it showed me the importance of each soul, no matter how tattered the body. DiCamillo is a favorite author to share with my daughter.

I cried like a baby reading this book. I had to stop several times and put it down. It's a fabulous tale of a brave rabbit and his adventures! Don't miss!

I read this book aloud to my third grade class at the beginning of each year. They are enthralled. They plead for me to read more often and for longer; some classes have even applauded at the end. It becomes a point of reference to third-graders throughout the year. Old-fashioned, yet fresh; this story is a touchstone for character education lessons.

One of the best stories there is. I have already bought several of these books and given them as gifts and may buy some more.
