Part of the An Awesome Adventure Bible Stories series printed in Italy and distrubuted by the American Bible Society (ABS). As I'm writing this review in 2007, it appears that these books are no longer available through ABS.
This series is truly awesome! The artwork is some of the best I've ever seen in Christian materials for children. There are also photographs from modern times. These books are more of a reference than a storybook and the format is very appealing to children. These books explain the biblical stories and tie them to our modern day. Even adults will learn a few things as they glance through the book. It is sad they are no longer easy to get in the US.
