The Eclectic Pen - Mister's Cat

  He said he never
liked any cat.
I always knew far
different than that.
Kikipoo was her name.
He looked at other
cats with silly shame.
She always slept in his bed.
Kikipoo was always well fed.
I can recall telling
him she really is a cat.
He always felt she
was somehow better than that.
They lived together
for so many years.
When her passing came
he shed so many tears.
He now is up there somewhere too.
I know he is sleeping with kikipoo.

This is a story/poem I wrote about my grandpa and his cat,they are both now in heaven.Thankyou for allowing me to share my heart

This is EXACTLY like my fater and his cat, Bart!!! He pretends to hate him, but I know will miss him terribly when Bart is gone!!!

my husband makes like he doesn't like our cats, but every day allows the tuxedo cat to climb up on his chest and have a prrr and petting fest!
