I have two of these so am listing this one. This is a great book for a curious first timer cook. It explains so many things. It helps you set up a basic pantry of foods when you shop on a weekly basic. All meals are good and fast depending on your taste. I liked that she describes the various types of rice what will give you sticky rice, what will give you rice that doesn't stick together. She is an educator cook and also has kids which helps make food for little ones easier.
