First time I had read anything by this author and I really liked it. Depicted some real life situations, especially what the elderly go through as their health declines and what can happen with no family to check on them on a regular basis. Author seems to be very familiar with the area in Dallas that's the setting of the book - could almost see it in my minds eye. Liked this so much I got and read books two, three and four. Hope she writes more in this series - I would eagerly read them.
