This book just utterly confused me to the point where I kind of enjoyed it, but at the same time I wasn't altogether too certain of what to make of it. It was interesting while at the same time it seemed rather ... dull. I almost didn't care what happened to the main character, in fact I was wondering if she was going to be captured and tortured any time soon, if that gives you any indication of my feelings towards her. All in all ... I wouldn't pick it up again.
A very interesting book, i worried when i first ordered it that i would be lost starting a series in the 'Magic the Gathering' universe with no background to work from, instead i found an easily explained and enjoyable fantasy series.
