This is one of my all time favorite series! I love how the vampires and the humans cannot stand each other, but have no choice but to co-exist. There is a lot of drama, and love going on in all of these. It is your classic vampire story (without all the gruesome details), but at the same time some of them have a heart (if you can call it that). It is a struggle for both the humans and the vampires to live this way. Both sides have a lot to fear, and just try to make it work. I find myself feeling for the vampires as well as the humans. They are both just practicing survival instincts, but of course the vamps are a little more cruel than the people. I give a 5 star rating, and a must read thumbs up! I highly recommend this to any vampire lovers!

This series is totally addicting! I could barely put it down. Rachel Caine keeps you on the edge of your seat and wondering what could possibly happen next?!
Claire Danvers manages to get herself into even more trouble than when last we left her. She has cemented some interesting friendships and made even stranger vampire liaisons. What we have discovered she is true to her friends and makes decisions based on that very fact, but what happens when you can not see your way past that first decision?
