This is an excellent book regarding love, bad choices and forgivness.
This is the first book that I've read by Deborah Bedford. It was a wonderful story, told with great description and feeling. As the characters examined their own lives and questioned their motives and decisions, I was also prone to do the same. It is a book of promise.
Abby and David Treasure seem to have everything: the perfect marriage, a perfect son, a perfect life. A phone call is about to change all that. Years before, David secretly had an affair and, although he never knkew it, fathered a daughter. Now a voice from the past tells him the little girl is deathly ill and her only hope is a bone marrow transplant--from Abby and David's son.....
A very good read. A great learning lesson of forgiveness and consequences.
