Pretty good book-- clever and enjoyable. A generations ship whose population has forgotten that they are in a ship, ruled by a ruthless group, the Elite, until the Elite suddenly lose their powers--the populace rise up against their now impotent leaders--Prince Kender blackmails his boyhood friend Jad into being an unwilling sidekick in an adventure to find out what happened to the Elite.
