Beatrix Potter was a master storyteller. I love all her books. They are great to read alouds to young children. My children loved to hear them again and again and I look forward to reading them to my grandchildren. Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle is a hedge hog who does laundry. Such fun for little girls even though nobody carries a pocket handkin anymore.
