This book was a quick read and well written. I enjoyed it and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. The characters were well rounded and along with the setting, plot and speech reminded me of a time long past. Victor McGlothin did a good job with the research and his ability to craft a story from that research took the reader back into the late 1940's and told a tale that was historical in nature and entertaining at the same time.
