This is a great learning book for children and animals. Ben, a little boy with a birthday party has to put his dog Muddy Paws out while the family prepares for Ben's birthday party. Muddy Paws does not understand why he must play outside when the party is going on inside but then Ben comes and gets Muddy Paws while everyone is eating cake; Muddy paws gets a sausage and sits on Ben's lap.
