I liked this novel pretty well. The subject (daughter's relationship with troubled mother) has certainly been written about a lot, but I thought that the author still managed to bring a fresh perspective to it. Bingham also does a good job laying out scenes and flashbacks and allowing the reader to figure out what's going on. It's a pretty slim little book, and a quick read.
