An early Langton mystery featuring Homer Kelly, who tackles a series of tricks at Boston's Gardner museum that culminate in a murder and an attempted murder of one of the books most fascinating characters. A good read.
Interesting series, with pen and ink illustrations by the author. Who stole the paintings?.
Author knows Boston and environs VERY well.

I totally enjoyed this one. LOTS of info on the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and being from New England, it made it more real, I guess. Lots of info on the art work but mixed in so it wasn't boring. The characters were fun. I loved the Titus Moon, Aurora, and Polly triangle, which, of course, worked out in the end. A fun book and quick read. I will be finding other "Homer Kelly" books to see if they are as good.
