Thoroughly enjoyed this, the first in a new series....Major Lennox finds a body on his doorstep...but he must go to Lord Melrose's ( his uncle) for Christmas.....The house party is snowed in and the deaths start! What is the connection to the body that was found on Lennox's doorstep and the other deaths? Loved Mr. Fogg ( his dog) ....anxiously waiting for the next book in the series!

Awesome read! I consider this one of my favorites. Major Lennox is a very likable character. It is an interesting mystery with interesting characters with some humor and wit along the way. I enjoyed every minute of reading it. I have watched all of Downtown Abbey, The Poirot series and Miss Marple, and this fits right in with those stories. I am starting on the 2nd in the series today.
