Fun cozy mystery set in Higgins, VA - a small town with history during the Civil War of being the smallest "battle" of the war. When a beloved retired weatherman turned innkeeper joins in a reenactment and gets wounded from an actual bullet while another soldier is killed, it sets off a chain of events that involve many in the town.
Good reading.

Thia was surprizingly good. I have read many that have to do with reenactments, so I thought it might be boring, but it was really interesting and avery easy to read. It made me want to read other books by the ghost writer, Bill Crider. I might read the first Willard Scott one too. I was surprized this was so entertaining. I really liked it
