I read Murder in the Place of Anubis by Lynda Robinson this week.  My first book by this author.  It's set in Ancient Egypt in the reign of King Tut.  I thought it was really well done.

anyone else read it?

Read the whole series. I love Egyptian history and think her books are well-written.  I have books three and four - Murder at the Feast of Rejoicing and Eater of Souls (not yet on my bookshelf).  A similar author and series is by Lauren Haney.  I have The Right Hand of Amon by her.  PM me if you are interested in any of these.   Linda

Linda, thanks for the offer.  I'm floating in books right now, but I will keep you in mind.

Hey, I see that you are a world history teacher.  That's neat!  History was my favorite subject in school.  I love it!

Melody, thanks for the reminder about this series. I read Murder in the Place of Anubis about a year ago and quite enjoyed it, and I do have the second in series here (somewhere!) on my TBR stacks...I should get to that pretty soon. I am in the middle of so darned many series that some that I've only read one or two of, I keep forgetting about!!
