This is author Jon Land's sixth and final book in the Murder She Wrote series. At least in this one he didn't have Jessica involved in a giant conspiracy or doing things physically impossible for her. And Mort was actually courteous to her. I won't miss him, and am interested in reading what the new author has Jessica doing.
There were so many suspects in this mystery I had trouble remembering them all. Still, those of us who have read hundreds of mysteries often figure out parts of the plot before the reveal. In this case, I took a good guess as who the killer was, as I turned out to be right. However, I was surprised at where the treasure was hidden, even though the author dangled the location before me in several chapters.
