Marge Shoemaker believes that someone is out to ruin her reputation as a horse trainer & make her lose her farm. When her top racehorse has his leg broken in his stall & her most loyal jockey is killed, Jolene Allen & paka Powell step in to investigate. As jo & Paka learn more about the people surrounding Marge, they come up with many suspects. Therse's a disgruntled jockey who threw races to make Marge's horsese lose. There's also a bookie who's always looking for a sure bet. And what about the rich neighbor who would profit by having Marge's land?
