This is the next to last "Jessica Fletcher" book the current author wrote, and I hope that is a good thing. He was finally getting back to the personalities of Jessica, Seth, Mort and some others we grew to like when the majority of the "Jessica Fletcher" books were written by Donald Bain.

However, the current author still has Jessica doing things you just have to accept on faith. Like how many of us, while under great stress, would notice a light patch under a person's ear and deduce it was caused by an ear-bud government agents wore? And isn't it interesting how two security cameras on buildings with no relation to each other, and over a hundred miles apart, are checked to find a car with a certain license plate. Well, if that's commonplace, maybe Big Brother really is watching us.

Thank God I get these books from the library and don't pay money or credits for them.
