I love this book as well as other Desiree Shapiro mysteries. Selma Eichler writes a fun series about a plup sleuth who is always getting her man... so to speak.

Desiree is a highly unlikely private detective. Based in New York and her niece Ellen play a big part in her series. Very enjoyable reading.

I have gotten hooked on "cozy mysteries," and this one fits the bill well. I'm on the look-out for more in this series.

As always, Desiree Shapiro is entertaining. Her niece, Ellen, attends a sorority reunion and a much-hated sister arrives, uninvited. By Saturday morning, she is dead and Desiree tries hard to prove it was accidental and that Ellen had nothing to do with it. The more she investigates, the more she is forced to believe it is murder and she absolutely must find the killer! I thoroughly enjoyed the book and I loved the ending.

Desiree Shapiro rocks! I love this series by Selma Eicher. This one is no dissappointment. All the characters are very colorful, and there are many. The mystery is very deep and you just can't even take a shot at guessing the 'who-done-it', as there are so many options here. Lots of detail about Desiree, and all her clothes and men, very colorful, a great read in this series.
