It's fiery, it's sexy, it's passionate. And it has an unusual hero. How many albino heroes do you come across in historical romance? Throw in a generous amount of secrets--family and otherwise--and you have here a tense and wild ride that only a strong-willed couple could produce. I loved Portia's hot temperament and lusty drives; she was real to me. Though the musical aspect brought Portia and Stacy together, it quickly took a back seat so that other elements could shine. The ending came together in a rush, but overall I enjoyed it very much. I definitely want more of this new series written by a fave author under a new pen name. 4 stars.
