The Mystery of the Cupboard (Indian in the Cupboard, Bk 4)
The Mystery of the Cupboard - Indian in the Cupboard, Bk 4 Author:Lynne Reid Banks, Tom Newsom (Illustrator) In the fourth book in Bank's acclaimed INDIAN IN THE CUPBOARD saga, Omri and his family move to an old farmhouse, where he finds an ancient notebook that reveals a family secret-and the mysterious origins of his magical cupboard.
The fantasy continues in what I believe is the best book yet in the Indian series, but you must have read the previous three to understand.
When Omri put away the cupboard and theminiature figures he had brought to life in The Secret of the Indian he vowed it would be forever. But now Omri has discovered an old journal written by his "wicked" great-great-aunt that reveals the secret of the cupboard and its magic-a secret so powerful he must break his promise to himself and open the magic cupboard once more.

My 10 year old son read this and to be honest this one was a real slow read. He read all the ones before this one in no time but he is taking a break from this book. i actually had to let him quit it in the middle because he hated it so much. I think the problem was all the other books were full of action and he likes action books. But for some other reader they might love it.
