This is a fantastic series. I started backwards -- with Book 5, Spellcrash -- and then read books 1-3. I bought MythOS so I could read that.
You'll probably want to read them in order. :>
If you like Roger Zelazny, you'll enjoy these. There's more than just being much of a feel of Corwin of Amber. You can tell that Kelly really loved Roger's work. But WebMage [both concept and series] is not what Roger would have imagined. I also suspect if you're a fan of Vlad Taltos that you'd like Ravirn. Vlad is a lot more like Ravirn than you might expect, and vice versa. :D
I just read all the books again [barring Spellcrash, which I must go buy asap] and they still hold up. And oh! how I want my own webgoblin pal...
Note that Kelly's pacing is fabulous, and despite my knowing how Spellcrash went, I still badly wanted to know everything before that. And his books are *extremely* hard to put down. Humor, magic, adventure,
and Eris. If you're a computer geek, you will
get a real kick out of Eris's system.
Really COOL magic.
