Hardened mercenary of the future lives a dangerous life with hardened compatriots. A good enough read if you're into this sort of thing. More psychological than action packed.
"Metzada--the new Promised Land...a barren world with no natural resources. Everything necessary for continued survival must be imported, and the only commodity the Metzadans have worth trading is themselves. They are acknowledged to be the finest mercenary soldiers and strategists in the universe; if the price is right they will fight to the death for whoever hires them." Lots of action in this story, plus more than that. Quite good reading.
