This is a very wonderful and inspiring book about Naomi, the mother-in-law of Ruth. So, because of the content, you not only get a fictional story of Naomi, but you also get the story of Ruth. The lovely story begins with Naomi at a young age and follows through her life as a wife and Mother. Also included is the beautiful and touching love story of Ruth and Boaz and how Naomis love of her daughter-in-law and trust in God helped her family not only survive but thrive when things were bleak. This is a lovely fictional story that not only reminds us of the trials of Gods chosen but also his endearing love and kindness. All of Cynthia Davis books are lovely, but this is truly my favorite of her series.
