This is a serious study of a far-reaching subject;how we grow and change through the losses that are inevitable in our lives. The cover has this as an explanation---The Loves, Illusions, Dependencies and Impossible Expectations That All of Us Have to Give Up to Grow. I enjoyed reading it very much and I feel I learned a lot from the book.

Great book. I loved the ABC of dying. It helps one to see how losses are a natural and necessary part of life and how mourning is absolutely necessary to grow and move on.

I didn't enjoy it as much as I expected considering the author - but to each his own!

A compassionate, thought provoking and sensitive book. I'd give this book to any young person coming into adulthood, and anyone facing a major transition in life. It's easy to read, but profound.
