I was hooked on this story until the very last pages then I still didn't want it to end. There are two main families who are fueding of a card game that took place 16 years ago, of course the woman from one family falls for the cowboy of other family, to a point it's like romeo and juliet set in the wild west of the 1800's but that is where the smilarities stop. THis has action, mysterious things happening, a forbidden love, and unwanted love and finally a love that is meant to be. Through the whole book I thought I knew who was the evil one but boy was I wrong!!!!!! I was kept guessing til the last chapter and that is what I like in a book.

After six years at a Philadelphia finishing school, former tomboy Emma Malloy was coming home to Whisper Valley, Montana, a sophisticated lady. Little did she know that the decades-old feud between the Malloys and the Garrettsons had escalated into a full-scale range war. Nor did she expect that her archenemy, Tucker Garrettson, whose stolen kiss she still couldn't forget, had become a rugged, handsomer-than-sin cowboy who wanted to hang her father and take her prisoner-in his arms.

She thought she knew about love.... After six years at a Philadelphia finishing school, former tomboy Emma Malloy was coming home to Whisper Valley, Montana, a sophisticated lady. Little did she know that the decades-old feud between the Malloys and the Garrettsons had escalated into a full-scale range war. Nor did she expect that her archenemy, Tucker Garrettson, whose stolen kiss she still couldn't forget, had become a rugged, handsomer-than-sin cowboy who wanted to hang her father and take her prisoner - in his arms. He vowed to teach her about desire.... She was proud, beautiful, and bossy. And even though Emma was a Malloy, Tucker wanted her badly. Here they were caught in a blood feud and all he wanted to do was take her once and get her out of his mind. No man could outgun him, but could this infuriating beauty make him surrender his freedom and believe in love?
