I thought this book would be so much better due to reading some very glowing reviews on another book site......was very disappointing! Had potential to be exciting....just missed the mark for me.

Just okay for me, very typical of horror novels from the early 90's. It reads like a young adult story at times, and other times not, mainly because the main character is an adult recalling what happened when he was a boy. I found the characters not likeable/not easy to relate to. Fortunately it is a short read. Lots of animal torture, I would have skipped this book had I known.
