This book does have some helpful information on effective ways to lower your cholesterol. I would recommend this book, as a keeper cause you will want to refer to it time and again. It does have some unique recipes in the back, but doesnt have an 8 week food plan, in case that is what you are looking for.
Of course it says exercise, lose weight, eat fruits and vegs, nuts, whole grains, and 2 servings of fish a week, take certain vitamins like E, C Bs, and niacin. There is even a chapter on how to control high blood pressure.
Now just cause I told you what he said doesnt mean you can now skip this book. You need to hear what he has to say. He is not against statins or other medications, but I like that he has explored other options too.
