I got this for my son who is 7 1/2 and he said if we bought him a real Bible, he would readt it at night with Daddy!! So, I wanted one that wasn't too childish and was an actual NIV Bible. This is perfect! He loves to read the little tid bits of information or teachings on each page and when we all readt our Bibles at night, he can read along with us and we call take turns! Great family time! Love this version!
