Perhaps I'm a quesadilla purist, but several of these recipes left me cold. Some examples include Macaroni and Cheese Quesadillas and November Yam Quesadillas. Overall, recipes give servings per recipe, prep time, total time, and nutritional information. Unfortunately, there are no individual photos of completed recipes.
BookSumo Press usually offers well-edited recipes. However, there were several oddities in this book. In the earlier recipes, there were some misstatements. For example, in the Napa Valley Topped Avocado Quesadillas, the ingredient list calls for 48 inches of flour tortillas. Do they mean twelve 4-inch tortillas, eight 6-inch tortillas, or something else? They make the same error in Camping Breakfast Quesadillas, calling for 20-inches flour tortillas. The author(s) made the same mistakes elsewhere in the book. Overall score = G+.
