Hello there! I am new to PBS and am very excited to become active! I want to encourage some of my friends who also love to read to join and want to let them know how to cite me as a referer...how do I go about that?

Also, is there a way to send a link to my bookshelf to others?

Thanks so much!!

For referrals, go to Community, and the second one from the bottom is Spread the Word.  There are many options in there for letting others know about PBS.

You can create a link to your bookshelf, by going to your shelf and copying the address and then pasting it into an email or whatever.

Welcome!

Melissa

Welcome Jessica.....the forums are great places to get answers, but don't forget to also ask your tour guide.

If you go on the tab that says community and then go down to "spread the word" there are things that you can copy there to refer people from a web site...or things that you can print...  The important thing is that when they join they have to put your email in the field where it asks if anyone referred them.  Once they list the 9 books then you will get a credit.

From the my account page you can see the link for your referrals.

Also from the my account page you can click on "public profile" and then "books listed".  If you copy and paste  the URL it will show up as a link in the forums...

There might be an easier way to do it, but this is the way that I do it.

Once again WELCOME!  and you have a great looking bookshelf.  Chic-lit gets ordered here pretty often.  I'd order some from you if I didn't stop running out of credits.
