Hi friends,  I just joined PBS and am thrilled to discover this wonderful outlet!  I just wanted to say hello, and invite any or all of you to check out my bookshelf!  I am  not sure how to generate interest in the books I have to trade, and the "help" section mentioned trying out the forums...so here I am.  Also, it mentioned the "bazaar"...what exactly is that?  I haven't been able to figure that one out.  Have a great day!

I am not sure how to generate interest in one's books - but in time they all go....I have found that I just have to be patient.

I have a good many listed - somewhere around 165- I added some today and took some away and I'm not sure what I will end up with when I am done -but usually I have 3-6 books go out a week.  They do move - and mostly it is the children's books that go fast for me.  :)

When you post them, is there a way to indicate what genre or whether they're homeschooling specific?  I was thinking maybe I missed something.

Kathy, welcome to PBS!

The genre is predetermined, so there isn't a way (other than tags) to indicate what is good for hsing or not.  You can put things in the tags area of your bookshelf and that will help others to know what you think of them.

THe Book Bazaar is its own forum (a couple up from the Homeschooling Forum in the list) and you can 'pimp' your shelf and several of your books there.  Just browse around there and see how it's done.
